Research on the Fracture Properties and Mechanism of Carbon Dioxide Blasting Based on Rock-like Materials

Liquid carbon dioxide blasting technology has a wide range of applications and is characterized by sound fracturing effects, low vibration hazards, high safety. In order to investigate the characteristics mechanism CO2 phase change rock breaking, liquid tests on rock-like specimens were carried out in this paper. The results show that 130 MPa threshold value at which system moves from dynamic tensile stress damage pressure damage. When pressures 100 70 are used, lumpiness ratio fragments does not much as strength changes, so suitable should be chosen improve effect. Under impact blast high-pressure gas flow, cracks develop form rough failure surface.
